Resistant to Leaks
Steel buildings use thousands of fasteners on their roofs which are subject to fail over time.
This means thousands of penetrations and seams which may provide a channel for water to
enter and air to escape. The cover on a QuickStructures™ building is neither water nor
air permeable. There are no penetrations through the cover to allow leaks and drips.
Less Expensive to Maintain and Operate
With a QuickStructures™ building, ongoing costs such as lighting are reduced or non-existent
depending on the use of the building. If interior lighting is required for night-time use the bright white
underside of the DuraWeave® cover means fewer lights are needed and the light is more evenly
distributed. This means cost savings, not only on the utility costs for power but also reduced initial
costs for the additional lighting.
The DuraWeave® covers are also virtually maintenance free. They do not trap dust and dirt nor
do they require painting or shingling to maintain their clean appearance.
